I started drawing around five years old when my cousin was drawing in front of me and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so she offered me a paper and I began to draw my favorite character at the time. Although I've grown from just drawing my favorite character over and over, I still keep those drawings close to my heart because that is what got me into the entire craft. Those small drawings of my favorite character lead me to spray painting with my friends, it led me to make my first commission for someone, it led me down the path to use my skill to make friends via drawings of what they liked. It all leads up to now, where my passion for this craft is so strong I've decided to surround my entire life with like minded people as I continue to give my art away for cash to people who enjoy what I make.
In the wake of my new art potential, I moved to where nothing bad ever happens to artists, the internet. Shockingly my art was pretty well received around when I started posting, instantly gathering a small following and looking forward to how I would grow my audience. Although it wasn't always easy posting things online, constantly feeling like all my art must appeal to my audience and having some of my internet peers be less than amazing people, eventually I started doing my own thing, I stopped making things I thought would appeal to my audience and started making things for me and ever since then it feels like I've been generally happier ever since.
If you feel so inclined to view the art I've spoken so passionatly about then HERE is the link to my art twitter
These are about the extent of animation I've dabbled in
My animation journey has not been long but it has been full of passion and love for the craft
It all began when I met my animation teacher sophomore year of high school, Mrs. Olden. She was bold and loud, everything that almost every art teacher before wasn't. That might be due to the fact that she wasn't an art teacher but instead just a computer teacher who was just made to teach the animation class. Despite that she was one of my favorite teachers to date, not afraid to be blunt and tell you what you need to hear, she was always going the extra mile for the kids in her class and because of her I got to share my art with audiences I never thought would ever be able to see it
Thanks to her I've won many awards and shown my art to so many people it got me a scholarship and a "best in the contest" award at IDIGI which was super fun, and even though i have left her class because i couldn't stay in highschool forever, she will always remain the one that inspired my animations and for me to keep animating on my own time. I've gone to make my own little animations but nothing to the scale
I havent worked in a lot of programs but I have worked in
I’m not gonna sit here and say that i've reached inner peace and that I know exactly who i am, but at this moment I feel that I have a good grasp on me, and who I am can be described as someone who enjoys a good laugh with his friends and just overall being creative and a kind person to those who are kind to me in turn. Although my friends all tease each other constantly we are tight and are all ride or die and I choose to associate myself with the people who will stick by me in a crunch.
